Water Management & Flood Response Units
2010 & 2011 sees a number of water carrier and flood response vehicles joining the ECFRS fleet. A flood response unit will be allocated to Leigh (E31) based upon a Ford Ranger pickup. Later in the year, two high capacity water carriers will also be joining the fleet to provide robust water supplies to remote rural fires where adequate water supplies are an issue.
