Rescue & Recovery Vehicles

Essex County Fire & Rescue have a single recovery vehicle on the fleet for the recovery of cars and commercial vehicles. In the past, a much larger vehicle was used or HGV recovery RTCs. The Major Rescue Tenders are deployed for a number of reasons but principally for RTCs where people are trapped.
