Aerial Appliances
Essex County Fire & Rescue Service uses a number of Aerial appliances to perform high level rescues and to provide an overhead water monitor at large fires. The aerial appliances cover a large area as there are currently five strategically deployed around the county at Harlow, Colchester, Chelmsford, Southend and Basildon. All of the current aerial appliances are based on the Scania chassis.
